There's nothing quite like the smell of coffee in the morning, but let's face it – we don't drink it for the flavor, we drink it for the caffeine. So why wait for coffee to brew when we can just snort the caffeine directly into our addicted little nostrils? I want to be caffeinated, and I want to be caffeinated NOW!

If you've ever worked in an office building, you've probably noticed how corporations are more that happy to provide their employees with free coffee, tea, cola beverages, etc. – anything with a healthy dose of stimulating jitter juice. This invention puts caffeine into an aerosol. So, productivity manager, why waste valuable office space on a kitchen, when you can just pipe the stuff directly into the climate control system?

Well, it would hurt like crazy if you snorted it. As for inhaling: one cup of coffee has, what, 200 mg of caffiene at best? Do you know how hard it would be to get 200 mg of anything into your respiratory system by breathing in? It would make you cough like crazy? And man, I'd like to see someone try to fit 200 mg of caffiene powder into their nasal passages (it wouldn't all get absorbed, either, unless it was over an extended period of time)! ...wow. Just realized this was posted in '06, and that you/someone got a patent... and now I went through all that trouble... oh well, I'm posting it anyways...

why is this silly?? possibly a little unneccasary, as pure caffiene is readily and cheaply available in powder form and is widely used by body builders to pirk up and help intensity while in the gym, this may be a faster more convenient way for some ppl to get the stimulant into their body when on the go. altho not for me, sounds like a perfectly good idea.

That wouldn't be a very good idea. Caffeine effects everyone differently. I have Narcolepsy and caffeine doesn't wake me up, in fact, it puts me to sleep. I fall asleep a few minuites after drinking coffee, even when I take my medicine that is suppost to keep me up!

Haven't you heard about caffeine IVs? What is something you have to do sometimes before going in for an operation? You have to go several hours to a day consuming only water. People were waking up from operations with headaches, and the doctors thought it was due to complications from the surgery. They finally figured out it was because coffee drinkers got the headache due to the lack of daily caffeine, so they developed a special IV with caffeine.
