These things are can be found at www.powerskip.com. This place is Europe and they are rather expensive. Sometimes you can find them on Ebay as well. Just type in powerskip. Still, usually expensive there.

For those of you who asked where you could get one, it's called the "Poweriser" and you can find them at this URL, or in google.

I have seen this on a TV documentary comparing the mobility structure of human being and insects. The guy bounding on with this device look realing great and seemed to have a lot of fun in a basket ball court - slam-dunk is a piece of cake. but not sure whether he needed a safety wire.
I would like to own one if it is not too expensive.
Anyone one knows the price and any serious accient reports.

They just used those for a stunt on MTV's RW/RR Inferno challenge. Looks pretty fun, if not a bit dangerous.

This would be great to use for jumping those piles produced by the portable toilet would it not?!

I've seen these around San Francisco on several occasions. Normally there are hippies in the vicinity. The users dress in spandex and helmets and it does look like fun. Except that I'm accident prone, so it also looks like an easier way to break my legs, too.
