I wouldnt expect such hatred in America. Im a Muslim in America and I respect other religions as other Muslims in America do. Therefore I dont expect people to poke fun at our prayer. And no we dont need a counter. If we forget, we make up that section of prayer as soon as we remember we missed a part or forgot the amount due to intense focus. Please dont offend other people just because you think your religion is correct. Be tolerant.

A few days I received an email from someone using the name "angrymuslim101" who was upset with Alfred Danda's earlier comment on this invention. Angrymuslim101 said that it "is a great insult to muslims" to compare their prayer methods to a "doggie style position," and he asked me to remove Mr. Danda's comment.

I see nothing in Mr. Danda's comment to suggest that he is mocking muslim prayer practices in any way. He is merely pointing out another use of the "Muslim Prayer Counter." From my understanding of patent law, this application of the Prayer Counter could actually qualify as a "new use" invention: Mr. Danda could take the same exact invention, call it a "Doggy Style Counter" and receive another patent.

Now isn't that a nice little lesson we learned? All thanks to ethnic tension...
